Warriors add local Co- Owner Steve Sheldon

YAKIMA, Washington (February 27, 2010), The Yakima Valley Warriors of the American Indoor Football Association have added some local flavor to its ownership group.

Former East Valley High School graduate Steve Sheldon was formally announced today by Team CEO Michael Mink.

“I am very excited to become a partner of the Yakima Valley Warriors Football Team”, said Sheldon. “I have been very impressed with Michael Mink and his organization for their involvement with the Grid Kids and introducing them to the Warrior Youth Indoor Football league”. I believe this organization with the community programs they support like the Habitat for Humanity will be a staple in Yakima Valley for years to come”.

Sheldon, raised in the Moxee area has been in the trucking and transportation industry for the past 35 years. Steve is also a Reserve Deputy Sheriff with the Yakima County Sheriff’s Office since 1991 and has served as Lieutenant since 2002.

Sheldon said he will be the Director of Security for the team and will help with team sponsorship sales on an everyday basis. “Anytime you can add a quality person like Steve to your organization it is a great day”, said Mink. “We are very excited to have a local partner and will continue to get ready for camp next week”.
